At the age of 19, I was drawn to biology, botany and art. The raw beauty of nature and its flora; how do they thrive? I found natural colours and textures of flowers intriguing; as a creative at heart, how could I combine an interest in plants with creativity? In 2005 an apprenticeship in floristry had begun. 

I had humble, traditional beginnings, working in the leafy suburbs of Melbourne, developing what would be my platform for practicing exceptional customer service and wedding floristry. I was a keen apprentice that always wanted to know what ‘that’ flower was, and would become fixated when using something new. 

Nothing has changed. I am still in awe of flowers and their power to convey mood. My passion encouraged me to pursue as many facets of floristry as possible, creating flowers all over Melbourne and the Yarra Valley. Learning further aspects of business was also very important; In 2017 I completed Certificate IV in Business.
